                        The Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium
supports the online academic activities of 35 Connecticut higher
education institutions and the K-12 community. This growing
state-supported organization seeks an Instructional Designer to work
with faculty and staff from the member institutions to create and
improve their distance deliverable courseware.  The designer will help
develop and implement online materials to assist with this process and
work closely with the Learning Designer on new course designs. This
professional will also create and update online instructional materials
and help to conduct workshops for educators. Position requires:
Bachelor's degree, teaching experience, minimum two years creating
asynchronous web-delivered course materials, presentation skills, and
multimedia experience. Willingness and desire to work in a team
environment are crucial.  Candidates will also demonstrate organization
skills, thorough grounding in information technologies, close
familiarity with Web-centric software and online learning environments,
and an eagerness to learn new things. See the position description at:
