Hi Ute;
I'm one of the co-presenters, so I guess I'm in the best position to respond. It's free and it's here: http://www.umich.edu/~langres/workshops/VIXEn.sit It's Mac only for the foreseable future. Basically, it allows you to "embed" a movie file, set interrupts in the playback of the movie with questions, and provides a notebook for students to write their responses. It might be easiest if you download it and take a look at it. It does come with documentation, but if you have any questions, I'm happy to get back to you.

Cheers;

Jan
