We really like what http://www.wimba.com is doing.  It is asynchronous, but
because their technology streams upward as well as downward, it is very
friendly to almost all modems.

Is this asynchronous or syncrhonous?  The latter would, essentially, be a
voice mail system, no?

Is anyone familiar with voice-based asynchronous conferencing system? Any
good products out there? The text-based computer conferencing has
limitation in language teaching and learning. I'm exploring different
options. I appreciate any comments and suggestions on this topic.
