All,

This is to let you know that the official web site for TECHNOLOGY: TOOL
OR METHOD? (Baker's Dozen Roundtable Discussion via satellite and web
video streaming on 12 and 19 April 2001) is being launched today at noon
EDT.  The URL is  http://toolormethod.wlu.edu .

The site consists of the following:

1.  Satellite BROADCAST Information and Background.
2.  Video excerpts of the satellite broadcast.
3.  DISCUSSION FORUMS on a variety of topics and questions posted every
two weeks and archived  for later review.  You decide the topics to be
discussed.
4.  INSIGHT articles from the experts in the fields of technology
utilization in teaching.
5.  Learn from others' EXPERIENCES using technology.  Post your own and
read about others'.
6.  Learn of others' techniques, STRATEGIES, and methodologies using
technology in and out of the classroom.  Submit your own Ingenious
Methodology or seek to learn from another's expertise.

Key in to technology use, its impact on your  teaching styles, outcomes,
and knowledge acquisition.
