These are generally ergonomically awful and should only be used is some
specialized applications.  We have them in some rooms for instructor
machines so that a) the instructors can maintain eye contact when not
actually working with the system and b) instructors who don't want to use
the systems don't have a monitor looming in front of them.  I can't imagine
doing any significant work on any of these.

I believe West Point build a lab like that a couple of years ago and ended
up tearing it out in less than a year.  Don't hold me to that, however.
