We have had great luck with Nova desks, which allow the computer 
monitor to be recessed below a glass desktop, so the line of vision 
is not obstructed between teacher and students -- and between 
students.

This is also conforms with the new ISO ergonomic standard for 
reducing eye, neck and back strain. We installed 250 of them in our 
labs last year and they are great. If you are interested in this type
