University of Washington, Bothell - Educational Technologist

General Duties/Description:
The Educational Technologist reports to the Director of Academic Services
and provides leadership in the integration of technology in
teaching/learning for the UW-Bothell campus. This will be the initial
appointment in what is intended to be a growing service to provide faculty
with the tools to use technology effectively and appropriately as educators
and leaders in a variety of educational settings. The University of
Washington, Bothell holds the student/faculty relationship to be paramount.
Working with an array of tools, the Educational Technologist will provide
advice and assistance in the creation of online courses and course modules,
the delivery of distance learning over the web or via videoconferencing, and
will work with staff behind UW-Seattle's Catalyst initiative to bring
Catalyst resources to the Bothell campus.

Requirements:
Masters degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design or related
field and one year of experience in educational technology or instructional
design fields. A combination of education and experience may substitute for
stated requirements.

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.
