We've had Koss SB-30 headsets since the fall of 1996.  They work fine.
Several of the mics have gone out and required replacement. The
replacement is free, but we pay a shipping charge.  It can sometimes be
inconvenient because it takes several weeks to get them back. We purchased
some Tandberg headsets to have some extras when several Koss were being
repaired (and to try them out for comparison). The students find these
very comfortable.  We were told that the mics are inexpensive to replace
and readily available. The headsets, however, are quite expensive.
