Hi,

For audio with the MAC we've had grat luck with Felt Tip Sound Studio.
There are some quirks, the most important of which is that multiple
listeners cannot simultaneously access the same file unless you first lock
the file with the sharing utility.  Other than that, this program does
almost everything that Sound Edit does.
