------------------
I have just received Mais Oui from Houghton Mifflin and I am reasonably
impressed. I can think of features which could be added to the Director
produced interactive CD-ROM (but then who couldn't)?

What impresses me is this:

1. This affordable product takes a true multiple media approach to
teaching and learning which so many of us have advocated for a long time.
Incidentally, does anyone know who coined the expression Multiple Media as
opposed to Multimedia?

2. Like an increasing number of products, it takes a hybrid approach,
dual platform CD-ROM with web links.

3. There is a Student Audio CD.

4. I really like the authentic French in it.

I'm sorry if this sounds like a commercial but we need more products like
this and you asked.

The advantage of Mosaicos, if I remember correctly (I think this is a
Pearson product) is that you have a related Web-CT course available too with
plenty of QT videos!

Philippe
