Regarding security, is there a good system to prevent students from
making changes (i.e., dragging things to the trash, putting things in safe
mode, altering the toolbars, start menu, etc.) to the workstations? For
example,I have seen systems where the "My Computer" has been locked out.
Many students make these changes unintentionally, due to the fact that they
aren't computer literate. Others are mischieveous.

Right now, we have 30 machines with no network. Would I need specific extra
software or could something be done in Windows? Do I have to wait for a
network? Is there an easy way to make lessons for the day available at the
same time?

What about establishing "lab rules"? I have a feeling this might be a
problem for ESL learners.

Any hints would be appreciated. Thank you.
