-------------------
PEAK is a newer product and the full version is more powerful in that it
can use some third party plug-ins. One big difference between Edit 16 and
PEAK is that PEAK only works with two tracks Sound Edit can use 16
tracks. So having some music with narration over it and some sound
effects all together using 4 or 5 tracks would be impossible to create
with PEAK. The company that owns PEAK also has DECK II (soon to be DECK
III) for multi track editing. If you've got Sound Edit 16 and it works
well for you, and you don't need extra plug-ins, then you don't need PEAK.
