As a PS to Ruth's inquiry -- does anyone know of software that does dynamic
maps? I.e., maps on which population or linguistic movements/developments
can be traced over time? What I'd really like is a template into which
teachers could import static maps and then set up the movements... Is this
pure fantasy?
