We use the SONY duplicator and are very happy with it. It comes in a 1 to 3 unit, and you can also buy additional "slave units" to add 4 more copies (ours are configured to make 15 copies at a time). The SONY units have gear drives, and are very solid.

Has anyone recently bought a high-speed tape duplicator? Any
recommendations/comments on various makes and models? We copy (with
permission, of course) about 75-100 tapes a week.
