>Subject: iBook, OS9 and JLK

One of our faculty members here at the University of Kentucky has a Mac
iBook running OS 9 and Japanese Language Kit. It has worked well for a
number of months, but now his cursor has a mind of its own and goes where
it wants to go and not where he directs it. He had this problem when he
first purchased his iBook and CompUSA replaced it.

His G3 desktop running OS 8.5 and JLK works just fine. We have just
ordered G4 desktops with OS 9 for our faculty in Russian, Japanese and
Chinese so I am also wondering more generally about OS 9 and language kits.

Any suggestions? Any war stories?

Many thanks. Mary Lynne
