Following up on a discussion from this time last year....

After searching the archives and based on several recommendations
therein, I purchased 3 Panasonic A300MU units, only to discover when
they arrived that they require a PAL monitor in order to play PAL
DVDs. Now, please help me understand this a little better before I
ship these back.....

For those of you that have purchased these units, is this true? I
have faculty returning shortly from DVD-buying excursions in Europe,
and I need to play these DVDs here on our video projectors and
regular TV monitors. Do I have to worry about PAL/NTSC in addition to
region codes?

Help, and many thanks in advance!
