Dear Colleagues,

Thanks for the printer information. Installing drivers is only one step in
the process of making a Wintel machine print to a Mac printer. Windows
machines can print to Mac printers and visa versa thru the use of a print
server. This server has the appropriate protocols loaded for the connected
printer, thus allowing machines that are able to communicate with the server
the ability to print to the printer.

Networking folks on your campus should be able to set this up for you..

Thanks
Ron Bergmann

Dear Colleagues:

We were an all Mac Lab not too long ago, but now we also have a dozen
Gateway PC machines to run Speech Recognition software etc. Our Printers
are Apple Laser Writers 8500, and although we have searched high and low,
we cannot find drivers that would allow the PCs to print to the Apple
Printers. Has anyone else run into this problem -- and solved it? Any
advice on where to find the right drivers?

Thank you so much, Jörg
