Prof. Hardman, here at UF, has an unpublished Aymara textbook with tapes
(talk about less commonly taught languages!), and this summer she was
experimenting with having the audiotapes digitized (and probably the book as
well), with the idea of putting it all on the web as a free site. She has
some support for the eventual site, but none to pay an assistant for
digitizing the audio and creating the pages. If anyone has any ideas about
where she could apply for grants, please contact the grad student who's been
working on the project:
