Strategic Partnership between MIT2 and Educational CyberPlayGround

Mason Integrated Technologies Ltd (MIT2), a software developer
and language processing solutions service provider, and The
Educational CyberPlayground(tm), a Web-based source of online
curriculum and information materials, announce their intent to form
a strategic partnership. This partnership is designed to co-market
and cross-sell their language technologies and computer- and
internet-assisted learning strategies in order to expand the
functionality and effectiveness of both companies.

MIT2 provides written language stabilization solutions and
productivity tools (notably the Creole Tool Suite which
currently includes CreoleScan(tm) OCR and CreoleConvert(tm)
orthography software programs) for processing texts in Creole
and other minority and vernacular languages. CyberPlayGround
is expanding its source of curriculum materials to include those
for vernacular languages and dialects.

Such a partnership will continue to help promote the study
and use of vernacular, minority and local languages, and other
dialects, as well as the development and implementation of
computer systems and applications for such purposes. This will
allow the educational sector to benefit more fully from the range
of technologies that have been created for such languages.
