------------------
Hi stuck--

The tech person at our TESL Media Center highly recommends a Sony
unit that she purchased about a year ago, model BI-85. If you take a
look at http://www.video-direct.com/sony/dict-record/desktop.html,
you will find a chart comparing the features of this and other Sony
models and perhaps find one that has all that you wish for.

This and other Sony product sites mention the BI-85, but my local
dealer (Rees Electronics, West Los Angeles, 310-475-0859) says that
model is being replaced with a "new, improved" model BI-87. His price
for the BI-87 is $389. He offered to fax me a spec sheet, so maybe
you can ask your local dealer for the same to check on the features.

Hope this helps, brucita.
