>Subject: Fokus Deutsch - Word.doc

My German faculty just got the "Instructor's Resource CD-ROM" for
Fokus Deutsch from
McGraw-Hill. This is the "high-tech" replacement for the traditional
Overhead Transparency Masters, Pull-out Tests, etc. His problem is that,
for some of the files (WORD97 to be opened on a Mac)
he gets "unable to open" - "not enough memory or disk space". Since the
company calls for 24 MB and we have 64 (96 on the second G3 we tried), I'm
wondering if there is something extra going on. These docs are 1.8 MB or
so, having lots of graphics as cues for the testing.
