To any colleagues working on end-of-the-fiscal-year purchases:

Since this has been an item sought for on this list in the past I wanted to
share a recent "find":  If you are looking for a CD/Tape Boombox for the
classroom, I recommend the Aiwa CSD-EL33.  It is quite portable, has good
sound, and it's the first boombox I've seen with a tape counter.  In
addition, the remote will control the tape deck as well as the CD player.
I purchased one at a local Best Buy for $110.

P.S.  Can anyone recommend a source for foreign films in DVD format
playable on US machines?
