Actually, your word processor's "find-change" function should be able to
make the count.  Just make both settings the same word.  The problem is
that you will have to make more than one count if you want to be case
sensitive.

There is also something called 

Web Frequency Indexer
http://www.georgetown.edu/cball/webtools/web_freqs.html

which will put all words in order of frequency and give you the count for
what ever you dump into the rectangular processing bin.
