To Irene Starr and all:

The UMass alum seeking to study Italian in the Needham, MA area might
look into adult ed courses at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education
in Harvard Sq. (617-547-6789), Harvard University Extension School
(617-495-4024), or even the Needham Public Schools - Adult Education
Division (617-455-0866). A professor here at Boston College believes
there is an Italian language program somehow associated with the
Needham School Dept. There are, of course, private language schools
(such as Berlitz, the Boston School of Modern Languages and others) in
the Boston area where Italian may be studied.
