>Subject: Kanji Invader (freeware) made available

Dear all,

"Kanji Invader" has been released as freeware.

It is designed to give practice reading Kanji in Japanese in a game
format.

The platform is currently limited to Macintosh. (G3 machines are
recommended for better game performance.) The program does not
require JLK, KanjiTalk, or OS9.

Kanji Invader comes with the complete set of Kanji and related words
introduced in NAKAMA 1 and NAKAMA 2 (Houghton Mifflin) Sets for
other textbooks are under consideration.

Feedbacks and suggestions are always welcome.

The program is available at
www.sla.purdue.edu/fll/JapanProj
or
Nakama's homepage at
www.uiowa.edu/~japanese/NAKAMA/index.html
