>Subject: MAALLD Conference, April 7-8, Charlottesville, Virginia

------------------
Dear Colleagues,

This is just a reminder that the Mid-Atlantic Association of Language
Laboratory Directors will be meeting Friday and Saturday, April 7-8, in
lovely Charlottesville, Virginia at the University of Virginia. This is an
intimate conference with a number of interesting hands-on workshops and
presentations on lab management, the use of language technologies in
teaching, and other topics of interest. There will be a tour of UVA's new
Tandberg language laboratory system and several other digital centers that
serve teaching and research. If you are looking to upgrade your own lab
facility, this conference is a good one to attend, since a number of MAALLD
members have already gone through similar processes before. Please join
us! Network! Exchange knowledge! For a nominal registration fee of $50,
you can attend as many workshops and presentations as you can fit in, along
with a free reception and banquet.

For more information on the conference, you can go to:

See you soon!

Rachel Saury, President, MAALLD
