>Subject: Multistandard VCR

We're planning to purchase a few multistandard VCR's for our Language
Resource Center and wonder if anyone has feedback on the Samsung
SV-5000W or the SV7000W. We're not necessarily looking for a conversion
unit but rather something sturdy that plays PAL, SECAM, etc. Any
recommendations? I understand there are a few of the discontinued
SV4000W's around but they're still a bit "pricey".

Thanks,

Jean Dixon
