Amy,

Over the last 25 years I have often found myself somewhere between the users
(teachers, staff, students, etc.) and the technical folks having worked on
both sides of the fence. The most important thing I've learned is that
anything we see happen on a computer screen requires ten to 100 times more
effort in design and implementation than we as could ever imagine. I still
think it's mostly magic.
