Colleagues,

There are several opportunities available for involving
yourself as a presenter at the upcoming FLEAT IV conference
scheduled for 7/27-8/4 in Kobe, Japan (if you don't already know about
FLEAT IV, please check out the IALL webpage and links to the
conference from there: www.iall.net IALL Conferences to FLEAT IV).
Having been involved with previous FLEAT and LLA conferences in
Japan, I can tell you that presenting at FLEAT IV will be a unique and
memorable experience for even the most seasoned presenters. I encourage
you to plan to attend.

IALL will be presenting three 2-hour workshops at FLEAT IV:

Integrating Internet Resources into Language Instruction (Chris Higgins)
Using XML
Learning Director 7

We are looking for qualified folks interested in presenting either
of the two unassigned workshops. If you are interested, please contact me
at your earliest convenience.

Additionally, the deadlines for general session proposals is looming---
they are due to LLA by January 31. If you're interested in presenting a session
of your own choosing, plan to get that proposal in soon. Feel free to contact
me if you have any questions about the submission process, types of sessions
that are t swought, or any other questions about FLEAT IV.

I look forward to hearing from you!
