Foreign Languages: Teaching with Technology

SAVE THE DATE!
There is an upcoming workshop in your area:

March 16-17, 2000
University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI

This two-day workshop will bring together the technology expertise of IALL with the hands-on tradition of ACTFL's instructional workshops.

The workshop will allow language educators to:

* Explore and evaluate technology resources, including CD-ROMs and websites
* Discuss and develop criteria for viewing and evaluating technological tools to reach objectives
* Design activities to promote students' receptive and productive skills
* Integrate technology-based resources for differing student levels, educational purposes, and campus facilities
* Incorporate technology to develop students' ability to communicate more effectively, to understand and explore other cultures, and to participate in multi-lingual communities
* Network with other instructors

Tuition is $345 for the two-day workshop and includes a one-year membership with ACTFL.  Tuition is $295 for current ACTFL members.  Included in the price are all materials, two continental breakfasts and two catered luncheons.
