Instructional Technologist
Center for Educational Technology

Full-time, two year term position.  The Instructional Technologist will teach workshops on multimedia production and authoring, web authoring, and other computer skills, with a special focus in the integration of technology and language pedagogy. M.A.
required, Ph.D preferred, in languages, second language acquisition, applied linguistics, or related field.  Must have excellent teaching and interpersonal skills, and significant expertise in multiple operating systems, digital media production, and web
development, and in one or more of the following: distance education; videoconferencing; language teaching/language pedagogy; web programming; multimedia authoring.
Deadline for applications: February 7, 2000.


Technical Instruction and Support Specialist
Center for Educational Technology

Full-time, two year term position.  The Technical Instruction and Support Specialist will provide instructional and developmental support for language technology programs, teaching workshops on multimedia production and authoring, web authoring, and other
computer skills and supporting faculty materials development projects.  Will assist with computer lab and network management.  B.A. required.  Must have excellent teaching and interpersonal skills, and significant expertise in multiple operating systems,
digital media production, and web development, and in one or more of the following: computer lab management; Unix or Windows NT systems administration experience; videoconferencing; web programming; multimedia authoring.  Experience with or interest in
languages or language pedagogy desirable. Deadline for applications: February 7, 2000.
