CALL FOR PAPERS
ACTFL/AAUSC ANNUAL MEETING
November 16-19, 2000 Boston MA

15-20 minute papers are invited on the theme:

SLA and the Literature Classroom:  Fostering Dialogues

Papers can focus on any theoretical and/or practical issues relating to the
theme, language program direction, and the points of overlap that unite us
in order to increase our effectiveness in the teaching of language and
literature.

Please provide 13 copies of a one-page (no longer) titled, anonymous
abstract.  Include also a 3x5" card with the following information:

Paper Title
Author
Academic Affiliation
Address with e-mail
Telephone and fax numbers

Please submit abstracts and cards by FEBRUARY 15, 1999 (postmarked) to:

Abstracts will be reviewed and ranked anonymously by the AAUSC Executive
Committee.  You should hear the results of the review process by the end of
March 1999.

Presenters should be members of AAUSC and, in order to present at ACTFL,
must be members of that organization also.
Note that the authors of papers presented at the annual meeting are invited
to submit their work for possible publication in one of the organization's
annual volumes.
