Friday, August 7th marks the second year of the Ottauquechee
Musicfest, a musical celebration in support of Upper Valley
nonprofits. This must attend event is produced by Dartmouth Idol
Creator/Director, Walt Cunningham, Jr. Walt brings with him a team of
world-class performers from New York, Chicago and Boston. His
tremendous talent and years of experience include his role in Barack
Obama's presidential inauguration and his leading the production of
Oprah Winfrey's Mediterranean Tour.

The festival lineup features hand selected powerhouse vocalists
performing a myriad of well-known hits from the '50s to today. These
performances are theatrical in nature, with choreographed dance
routines as inspired as the music itself. Festival attendees can
expect to be brought to their feet time and again as they enjoy chart
topping hits from a variety of genres and artists alike, such as: The
Eagles, Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Maroon 5, Supertramp and
Patty Labelle.

This year's event will take place at The Quechee Club's Ski Area, in
an amphitheater style set-up under an evening sky. The event
kicks-off at 6:30pm, though many families start adorning the grass
covered slopes much earlier, where they can open a nice bottle of wine
and enjoy a picnic before the show starts.

Last year's event drew over 1,000 attendees with event go'ers of all
ages joining in the festivities. This grand scale event brought with
it a contagious energy and this year's performance promises to be
equally as spectacular.

Guests can expect to hear their favorite songs performed with a
contemporary twist and smooth jazz undertone, overlooking majestic
views of the Ottauquechee River Valley. Quechee will be lush with the
colors of a late Vermont summer. It is the perfect backdrop for an
evening spent with family and friends.

100% of the net proceeds from this event will be donated to QLLA
Charities, a member-run organization within Quechee Lakes that
contributes to a variety of Upper Valley nonprofits. QLLA Charities
has raised more than 2 million dollars for Children's Hospital at
Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD) and proudly donated almost $5,000.00 to
last year's festival beneficiary, WISE of the Upper Valley.

The Ottauquechee Musicfest is slated to begin at 6:30pm, following a
cocktail social in honor of event sponsors. Among the marque donors
are; Lake Sunapee Bank, The Masiello Group - Better Homes & Garden,
Cross Insurance and Boston Financial Management.

Tickets are on sale now and can also be purchased at the gate on the
evening of the event. Ticket prices are $25.00 per person, $10.00 for
students (who show a valid school I.D.) and children six and under are
FREE. View last year's performance on Vimeo
