Subject: 2nd Annual Veterans Honor Day

Hello Carole,

I am so sorry I did not get this information to you yesterday. I have enclose an information sheet to explain in more detail about the 2nd Annual Veterans Honor Day we are conducting on Saturday, September 18th from 12:00pm to 3:00pm here at the Hanover Inn, Hanover NH. This very worthwhile event will honor and give special recognition to the distinguished Veterans living at the New Hampshire and Vermont Veterans Homes, in addition to recognizing all veterans who have, and still are, serving this great country. Veterans, both men and women, from both the New Hampshire and Vermont Veterans homes will be present, with the majority of the veterans having served in WWII and Korea. We are also anticipating over 200 veterans and families from New Hampshire and Vermont will be attending this special event. This event is open to everyone and ALL monies will be donated to the two Veteran's Homes.

The Norwich University Color Guard will be presenting the Colors and their Drill Team, rated one of the best in the nation, will be performing. Military vehicles will also be on display from the Casselton and Green Mountain Military Vehicle Clubs. In addition, the Upper Valley Community Band will be playing during the luncheon.

Robert Walton, Director of the WRJ VA Hospital, President Emeritus Jim Wright, Dartmouth College and the Adjutant General of New Hampshire, Major General Reddel will be our honored guest speakers at the event.

We are all looking forward to listening to the bands great music.
