You are invited!

The Evergreen Singers invite you to a get-together for singers who are
interested in knowing more about Evergreenšs musical work.

Come meet our new Music Director, Anna Alden.
March 29, 2015 from 5:00 to 6:30 pm, in the Parish Hall of the St.
Barnabas Church on Main Street, Norwich.

We are a group of people from the Upper Connecticut River Valley, who
offer songs for comfort and healing to people who are seriously ill or
nearing the end of life.

We sing at the bedside or in living areas in private homes, hospitals,
assisted living facilities, and nursing homes.

We have participated in hospice and musical training, and we accept
the standards of care and confidentiality promoted by Hospice.

We sing to bring serenity and a time of peaceful harmonies.
Music opens hearts, soothes fears, and connects to all who are
present: patients, family members, staff, and singers.

Our selections range from quiet and restful harmonies to spirited
gospel music, traditional spiritual pieces, shape note songs, folk
songs, hymns, and traditional favorites. The preferences of families
guide our selection of songs.

Evergreen rehearses twice a month, Sundays, between 4 and 6 pm, in Norwich.
We sing at local nursing homes once a month on Tuesdays or Thursdays,
and we are on call in smaller groups for bedside sings.
