While enjoying lunch out on our deck today, a pair of Osprey were soaring directly above our house. This the second pair I have seen from my lunch spot, as another pair happened by at about the same time yesterday, heading in a southerly direction.

At the west end of Mill Rd. next to the Mascoma River, a mixture of feeding migrants included 2 - Philadelphia Vireos and Ruby-crowned Kinglets, as well as 9 - Common Mergansers on the river.
