I was reminded by Frank Miller's posting that I should report the flock of 20 or so snow buntings I saw flying across the road between open fields on North Rd (altitude about 1300 ft, I think) in Barnard VT about 3:30 PM Wed, Mar 9 as I was making a back roads return from a trip to Burlington.  A number of them tipped up on their sides giving great views of the undersides of their wings.-----Don
