I have twenty to thirty and have had every day for weeks.

But no goldfinches.
--- end of quote ---

On River road in Lyme we have about 150 birds in a mixed flock of pine siskins
and goldfinches, but only today did we get our first redpolls of the season. We
also had our first evening grosbeaks earlier this week and regular visits by a
red bellied woodpecker. On the other hand we have had no red-breasted
nuthatches (we do have a few white-breasted). The microdistribution of the
species is really intersting and somewhat mysterious. When we returned in
midDecember after being gone for five weeks we had no goldfinches a=or pine
siskins, thenthe goldfinches began to show up and now total more than 100
daily, but still no pine siskins. Then we started to get pine siskins and now
on a good day theer are 25-50! So te birds certainly range around and then
communicate well.
