1. Had wonderful looks at a Tennessee Warbler friday am, I have found them
(trilly, 3-parted song) the last few years in the orchard across from our
house here in Thetford.
2. I was standing in the yard in the early evening 3 night s ago...
listening to evening songs of the thrushes... and this huge bat swooped at
me.... wow... uhhh... they don't make bats that big... but it rocked like a
Common Nighthawk, had wing-bars... I do not often see CONI in the
spring.....it did not stick around :~(
3. CRBT maps..... arrived at our home yesterday afternoon. I will drop some
off at West Leb Supply, and the Norwich Bookstore today.. if anyone is
interested. There are some excellent sites !!!! (there is now a fee... $
5.oo)
Happy trails.
