A few minutes ago, both houes and purple finches were singing just west of the
corner of Main Street and Clement Road. Wonderful to hear how different they ar
when you can hear both in a short period of time.

Earlier today in some pines between houses a winter wren gave forth with its
wonderful long song. I've never  heard one so far from the woods.
