Ed Hack, George Clark and I birded the Windsor Prison Farm lands this
morning. Our best find was a mostly Golden-winged Warbler that was
previously reported in the area. We found this one near the road in the
wetland swale south of the red pumphouse. It sang a Blue-winged warbler
song, but at first blush it sure looked pure male Golden-winged. Then as we
worked it longer George noticed that it did have a slight yellow wash below
the black bib on the chest. So, it is mostly Golden-winged. You can see some
photos I took of it at

Other highlights included 4 Blue-winged Warblers (I saw 3 of them), Magnolia
Warbler, Nashville Warbler, Towhee, snipe, bobolinks, and more.
