Following Jason Hill's report of earlier today, a good variety of waterfowl were seen by several birders from the vicinity of the Kilowatt Park boat ramp in Wilder, VT: Canada Geese, Wood Ducks, Mallards, American Black Ducks, dozens of Ring-necked Ducks, a Greater Scaup female, 2 Long-tailed Ducks, Common Goldeneyes, Buffleheads, Hooded Mergansers, Common Mergansers, and a Ruddy Duck. A spotting scope is helpful for waterfowl observation at this site..
