Weather:  clear, calm, ~60° F

Snow Bunting was quite approachable, feeding near the green shed. 
Red-breasted Merganser was across the river in bright low-angle light, 
sometimes within a few feet of a female common merg - providing a nice 
opportunity to compare the two species.
