This morning my mom and I went out birding at Kendall Station and Pompy Flats.

Highlights:

a male and female Green-winged Teal at pompy
two killdeer nesting in the field by pompy.
barn swallows building nests on the bridge.
loads of yellow-rumped warblers singing and giving great views.
A singing brown thrasher.
And, the best bird at the very end of the trip:
a pair of rusty blackbirds, very close up, feeding in the shallows of a little pool along Kendall Station Rd.

Also, tree swallows building a next in our box!
