My wife, Janet and I were awakened this morning at 5:30 by a new song. She mumbled that's  a Brown Thrasher.  I went out to open the greenhouses and there it was, across the field at the top of a tree singing happily.  Later this afternoon two of them visited the feeder.  They were very tame and curious. I was only 10 feet from them.
