A reminder that the Mascoma Chapter of the NH Audubon Society will have its annual "hawk watch" on Saturday morning, September 10, timed to coincide with the peak period of Broad Winged Hawk migration when the spectacular soaring "kettles" of hundreds of birds are most likely to be seen, although no guarantees.

Time: 9:30 to 11:30. Place: Lebanon Airport, at the public parking lot in front of the airport control tower at the top of Airport Drive, not the parking lot at
 the Airport Terminal.

Directions: From Rt. 12A turn onto Airport Rd. and follow it uphill to its end ignoring the turn for the airport terminal (Airpark Road).

All experience levels welcome. Bring scopes and binoculars. Admission free. Children and pets welcome too.

Rain date in event of steady rain on Saturday will be Sunday, the 11th.
