Had a quick look at Ledyard Bridge around 8:15 AM today- highlight was a
beautiful Osprey circling round and round at a fairly low elevation.

Other sightings were:
Catbirds
Orchard oriole 1 female
American Redstart 2 males singing
Grackles
Robins
Baltimore Oriole 1 male singing
Yellow Warbler singing
chickadees
Song Sparrows
Tufted Titmouse
Swallows-10-15- could not tell what kind
Common Mergansers 1 m 1 f (sitting on a rock....nesting??)
Wood ducks 2 handsome males
Mallards 2 males (oh, OK, they were handsome too)

(Sometimes I think we forget how beautiful our more common birds are!)
