Mascoma Chapter of New Hampshire Audubon and the Kendal Bird Club are to be holding an evening field trip to view the spectacular spiraling skyward display of American Woodcock on Tuesday April 24, 2018. This field trip is free and open to the public. Participants should meet at 7:15 PM at the Kendal of Hanover reception area at 80 Lyme Road (Route 10) in Hanover, NH, to carpool to the display area. This field trip, lasting about 2 hours, is to be led by George Clark. Bring binoculars and dress for warmth in the early evening chill. Wear foot gear for possible soggy/wet conditions and be prepared to walk short distances over uneven but fairly level terrain. A flashlight or headlamp will  be helpful.
