Birded the Connecticut from Hanover to Wells River today
looking for the recently reported Pink-footed Goose. No
soap. However, there were some interesting finds.

Canada Goose (300-400)
Snow Goose (1)
Greater Scaup
Pied-billed Grebe
White-winged Scoter
Oldsquaw (a pair)
Bald Eagle (first year bird)
Sharp-shinned Hawk
Cooper's Hawk
Red-tailed Hawk
Common Snipe

There were also many other common waterfowl and already
reported early migrants.
