There are 7 Red-breasted Mergansers at Kilowatt South right now, between the boat access peninsula and Wilder Dam. All are females or in eclipse plumage. It's the largest group of this uncommon species I've ever seen in the Upper Valley. I hope they'll stay long enough for others to see them!
